Taste of Arlington® would like to thank all the sponsors, restaurants, judges, volunteers, and entertainers who helped make the 2009 event a great success. A record crowd of 15,000 came out to enjoy gourmet tastes provided by over 40 restaurants , great entertainment, and family friendly activities.

The event also exceeded its fundraising goals in which the proceeds will benefit Community Residences, Inc., a local non-profit organization that assists people with disabilities to live independently in the community.

The largest single day event in Arlington, each year Taste of Arlington® transforms the Ballston area into a lively street festival, complete with noteworthy restaurants, live entertainment and children’s activities.

The 2009 Taste of Arlington® was hosted by the Ballston-Virginia Square Partnership, in partnership with the Clarendon Alliance, Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization, Rosslyn Renaissance and the National Science Foundation.
